Congratulations to your athlete on being offered a position on a 2023-24 Lanier Gwinnett Volleyball Club team!! We are excited and looking forward to the season. Commitment Night is Sunday, 8/6 at a time listed below by team . It is a very important night and is mandatory for any family wishing to participate in our 2023-24 Club Season. During Commitment Night, we will verify/collect initial payments and paperwork, have a club-wide meeting, and your athlete will have the opportunity to meet with coaches and teammates.

- If you haven’t already, complete your acceptance & sign the Parent/Player Handbook here.
Payment
- Review the cost & payment options for your athlete’s team below or download a schedule here.
- Read in full the Financial Agreement for the 2023-24 Club Season. You can view and/or download an agreement here.
- Be prepared to sign a Financial Agreement if you’re not using Snap!Spend (Snap!Spend is the highly preferred and recommended method of payment for all families)
- Process payment via Snap!Spend (see below).

Lanier VBC is using Snap!Spend for paperless and automatic payments this season. Snap!Spend provides parents with an easy way to set up automatic payments online, view their payment history and receive upcoming payment reminder emails.
- You will be receiving a personalized email invitation from Snap!Spend by 7/30/23. Follow the link inside the email to signup. You can also see step-by-step directions here.
- You only have to set this up once at the beginning of the season! You can manage payments or change your payment method at any time by using your secure login which is created after you signup for the first time.
- To speed Commitment Night along, please make a payment on Monday prior to attending Commitment Night (unless you desire to pay by check).
- If you need help with Snap!Spend, use the chat widget on the Snap!Spend website or email them at spend.support@onsnap.com
- We are looking to have families use Snap!Spend for all payments if at all possible. Snap!Spend can process your online banking card payment (ACH) for FREE or your credit card payments for +3.9% + 30¢ fee.
- We will continue to permit payments by check, however as your banking card is the same, we strongly encourage the use of Snap!Spend so that you benefit from immediate payment, the ability to adjust your payment and payment reminders.
Commitment Night Information - 8/6/23
Commitment Night is Mandatory. Each team will have an initial team/parent/coach meeting, verify payment & paperwork & attend a club wide meeting. Expect it to take 2 hours to complete your team’s Commitment Night.
When: 2:30 PM
Where: Mountain View High School Commons Area (park up front & enter front of school)
Who: Athlete & at least 1 Parent/Guardian
Other: Complete the above steps prior to arriving. Also bring a calendar with you with any conflicting dates your athlete may have.
Please email us at info@laniervolleyball.com if you have any questions leading into Commitment Night or the season. Commitment Night is mandatory, however if you have an unavoidable conflict, but still plan to commit for the 2023-24 Club Season, please let us know ASAP.
Practice Schedule Information
Please see the TENTATIVE Practice Schedule below. We make every effort not to change practice schedules.
Early Season – 8/6/23 through 10/22/23
1-2 Practices per month will be held. These will be a variety of individual Team, Master Group & Positional practices. Leading up to Commitment Night, a link will be sent out to indicate your athlete’s availability for select dates. From there a schedule will be created.
These practices are STRONGLY recommended, but we understand that there is no way to meet everyone’s scheduling needs during school season. We understand and recommend that your athlete’s school volleyball season should take priority during Early Season (8/6-10/22).
Regular Season – 10/23/23 through Regional Championship Tournament
2-3 Practices per week will be held. These will consist of individual Team & Master Group practices & Scrimmages. See Schedule below.
These practices are mandatory.
The practice schedule may vary by month. We are waiting on availability schedules from Mountain View & Seckinger High School. Utilizing schools as our practice gyms requires some flexibility in scheduling. Every effort will be made to make the practice schedules as predictable as possible month to month. Practice schedules will be made available as early as possible each month.
For our High School athletes that may still be in the post-season, we understand and recommend that your athlete’s school volleyball season should take priority until your High School Team has been eliminated or completed the GHSA post season.
