Step 1: Register for Tryouts
- Register for 2024-25 Club Tryouts here
- Have SRVA Membership. If you have a 2023-24 SRVA Membership from this past season, it is good for tryouts. If you DO NOT have a 2023-24 SRVA Membership, purchase a tryout on here. Tryout Memberships for the 2024-25 Season will open on 7/1/24.
- Print & complete Medical Release Form. It does not need to be notarized.
- We recommend that all families who are interested in Lanier’s 2024-25 Club Program Season view this information.
- *We highly recommend our Train for Tryout events to all athletes intending to tryout. You must register separately for those events.
Step 2: Attend Tryouts
- Bring copies of BOTH your athlete’s SRVA Membership Card (can be on a mobile device in Google Play or Apple Wallet) & completed Medical Release Form to tryouts. Athletes CANNOT tryout without these.
- Tryout dates/times by age group are listed below. Attend your athlete’s youngest eligible age group.
- What age group is my athlete eligible to play at? How old will they be 7/1/2025, that is their age group!
- In an effort to make Train for Tryouts & Tryout events as stress-free as possible, Parents ARE NOT allowed to attend Club Train for Tryout events or Tryouts as a spectator. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in this matter.
Lanier is an SRVA region member. Please see the SRVA Tryout policy for all member clubs here.

*Note: 11U & 12U Tryouts
We will make every attempt to place all 11U & 12U tryout participants on a team. Tryouts will determine which coach they will have. We will take as many eligible athletes as possible as we can provide quality coaches.
**Note: 14 & Under Tryouts
For girls in the younger age groups (11s-14s) – Through experience, our directors and coaches have found that the best way to evaluate younger athletes’ abilities and potential is through an instructional tryout format. We will be structuring tryouts to resemble a mini-camp, with coaching staff giving instruction, correction and evaluation over multiple days. We feel this will allow the players to relax and show us their true potential.
***Note: Commitment Night
Please plan to attend Lanier Welcome Night on Tuesday, July 30th.
